Candle Care | Instructions
- On your first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface to ensure an even, tunnel-free experience.
- Before each lighting, trim the wick to ¼ inch for a clean, steady flame.
- Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time to preserve fragrance and vessel integrity.
- Keep the wax pool pristine—free from wick trimmings, matches, or debris.
- Place your candle away from drafts, vents, or ceiling fans for the purest burn.
- Never leave a lit candle unattended. Always keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Extinguish using a snuffer for a smoke-free finish. Gently re-center the wick while the wax is warm.
- Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains.
- (Our hand-thrown vessels are designed with ¾ inch of protective glass before the wax begins.)

Without care, even the most finely made candle can tunnel, waste wax, or lose its clean finish.
Candle care is also about safety. A centered wick, kept at the right length, ensures that the flame never grows too high or unstable. Respecting burn times and keeping candles on heat-safe surfaces preserves both your space and your ritual.
